Business Development Manager (In-Vehicle Technology)

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our highly skilled team and can offer a great full-time opportunity for an experienced and forward thinking Business Development Manager.

 

Job Description


We are looking for a winning and leading sales professional –  If you have the drive, capability and share our vision, we would welcome you to join our team! You’ll develop and manage relationships with existing and potential clients and identify and win new sales opportunities whilst maintaining and developing our existing market share, particularly in the blue, amber light and HGV markets. You’ll initially work from our Head Office in Exeter, but this role also offers the flexibility to work from home.


The position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated professional, the ideal candidate will need to be a very pro-active individual that possesses the drive and determination to succeed and also have the ability to interact and build productive relationships with customers.


The person should be excited by selling into new markets, negotiating deals, target driven and beating the competition in head to head opportunities.


You will be required to manage and develop key account relationships with major clients, write commercial proposals and win new customers. You will be expected to manage the full sales cycle including quotations, proposal vetting, contracts and maintaining this information on our CRM system.


Skills & Experience

  • A well organised individual with excellent inter-personal skills and the desire to work within a team, or equally able to work alone demonstrating initiative.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the telematics/vehicle installations market (preferably with experience in the automotive or transport industries).

  • Salesforce experience with a high standard of literacy and communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to deliver engaging presentations (remotely and in person).

  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth against target.

  • Ability to quickly take on board and communicate technical information.

  • Salary £28,000 – £30,000 depending on experience, plus targeted commission.

Vehicle Telematics Installation and Support Engineer

 

Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our highly skilled team and can offer a great full-time opportunity for a qualified/experienced Vehicle Telematics Installation and Support Engineer based in various locations in the South West. Depending on your location this position will be varied between being field based and working within our Exeter workshops.

 

Skills & Experience

  • A well organised individual with excellent inter-personal skills and the desire to work.

  • Desirable experience in the installation and support of vehicle electronic systems preferably to FCS1362 & FITAS standards (training can be provided to achieve these standards).

  • Installation and maintenance of in-vehicle communication solutions such as mobile data, tracking/telematics/cameras, on-board monitoring systems, vehicle safety equipment and handsfree equipment.

  • A proven good working and practical experience in maintaining and installing vehicle electronic systems.

  • Full UK driving licence and no criminal convictions.
